WAB Joint Stand and more: Visit us at WindEnergy Hamburg!

The WAB e.V., at the same time wind and hydrogen association and innovation cluster, is represented this week at the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair together with competent, innovative and experienced co-exhibitors. With the WAB joint stand, both as a platform for a joint appearance and as a contact point for some international delegations, the WAB team is looking forward to eventful days and good discussions in Hall B.6/294! As the organiser of the "WAB Wind Industry Talks" (B.6/298) and of joint workshops as well as networking opportunities, we want to achieve the best possible trade fair result as a forum for WAB member companies.

"With our joint appearance and the forum, we want to offer a showcase for our member companies in order to be able to present their innovative and competent wind and hydrogen business models in the best possible way. We stand for national and international synergies, the exchange of experiences, cooperation in the field of training and qualification and, above all, for the supplier industry for energy production in the form of electrons and molecules from wind energy," says Heike Winkler, Managing Director of WAB e.V. "It is already apparent that climate protection and the electricity demand of energy-intensive industries require a very strong wind energy expansion on land and at sea as well as the immediate production of 'green' hydrogen. That is why we have to exploit all acceleration and expansion potentials - in parallel with the import of 'green' hydrogen," she adds. Climate protection offers economic opportunities and WAB believes that offshore wind is the key technology for achieving Germany's climate targets. These are the messages WAB is bringing to Hamburg.

Co-exhibitors at the WAB joint stand are:

Abeking & Rasmussen, Avery Dennison, BIS Bremerhaven, Dost Group, GreenGate AG, In-innovative navigation, Lufthansa Industry Solutions, MML Solutions, Peper Energy, Steelwind Nordenham and Wind Multiplikator.

"We, the Bremerhaven Economic Development Agency BIS, are pleased to meet old acquaintances and new players from the industry at this year's WindEnergy Hamburg with the networking event of the international hydrogen economy 'H2 EXPO & CONFERENCE' and at the joint WAB stand. There is a lot to talk about: For example, about Bremerhaven as the predestined location for a test region for hydrogen applications or for the dismantling of the first offshore wind farms. You can also get to know our scientific networks and settlement opportunities in the sustainable business park 'Lune Delta'!" says Annette Schimmel, Project Manager Green Economy, BIS Bremerhaven.

"We want to get into a lively exchange with our co-exhibitors and visitors at the WAB joint stand and work out cross-sector approaches for a green future. As a global supplier of navigation systems and land-based traffic monitoring systems for shipping, we stand together with our British partner Nesspoint for a forward-looking and reliable monitoring and management solution for offshore wind farms," says Jonas Hieber, Sales Engineer with in-innovative navigation.

"Thinking across industries: our experience from maintenance processes, together with WAB, supports digitalisation in the offshore wind sector," says Sascha Jevremovic, Business Development Manager MRO Solutions, Lufthansa Industry Solutions.

"We are looking forward to our joint appearance at WindEnergy Hamburg as part of a strong industry network. The joint stand is an ideal platform for us to establish or strengthen new international contacts," says Carsten Michels, Managing Director of Peper Energy.

"Through our close partnership with WAB, we will again attend the WindEnergy Hamburg conference at the end of September 2022 and have a place on the WAB stand to present our services and experience in the areas of offshore wind operational management, large component replacement and QHSE. We enjoy WAB's excellent service and look forward to being part of the joint WAB stand and meeting our customers, partners and friends at the conference," says Henrik Hansen, Director, Wind Multiplikator.

"Steelwind has already been established for many years as an innovative and highly reliable manufacturer of XXL monopile foundation systems for the construction of offshore wind farms in Europe, the Far East and the USA. In order to be able to follow the international market development in the expansion of renewable energies in the long term, Steelwind is constantly investing in the expansion of its own production capacities. Accordingly, we are happy to use various channels to present our portfolio and the development of our technical capabilities to customers and other interested parties, in particular also the most important leading trade fair for us, WindEnergy in Hamburg. We are very pleased to have the opportunity to participate in this trade fair as part of the joint stand of the WAB, not least because it guarantees us an excellently organised and executed trade fair appearance together with partners from this wind energy network," says Dirk Halfpap, Sales Manager at Steelwind.
