Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects is part of the Van Oord Group, Rotterdam, NL - a leading marine contractor for dredging, marine engineering and offshore projects.
Since 2007 the business unit Offshore Wind Projects Gorinchem, NL, and Hamburg, DE, has been involved in a large number of offshore wind energy projects. Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects is able to offer its international customers a wide range of services within the Balance of Plant (BoP) of offshore wind farms. Engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and transport and installation (T&I) are executed for the foundations of WTGs and substations, inner array and export cables, scour protection and WTG installation – in single contracts or as EPCI contractor for the whole BoP. Beside its large dredging fleet Van Oord owns five specialised offshore wind vessels: The state-of-the-art jack-up barge ‘Aeolus’ and cable laying vessel ‘Nexus’ also the heavy lift crane installation vessel 'Svanen', the OSV 'Jan Steen' and the smaller cable-layer vessel 'HAM 602' are operated with own crews in Van Oord's and third party offshore wind projects.

Integrated Offshore wind EPC+T&I services such as detailed design and verification, procurement of materials and associated services and equipment, transports and installation/construction and commissioning services for:
• Foundations of WTGs and substation,
• inner array and export cables,
• scour protection and
• WTG installation inclusive
• provision of own jack-up barge ‘Aeolus’ and/or cable laying vessel ‘Nexus’.
