The 2018 wind season starts promising for RTS. Our specialists are very much in demand within renewable projects throughout Europe. A special highlight for us is that "GE Renewable Energy", one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers in the world, currently has thirteen RTS specialists in action.
Two Quality Inspectors, an Offshore Planner and ten Punchlist Technicians are working in the Eemshaven baseport for the Merkur offshore wind farm project.
The 396 MW wind farm under construction is located about 35 km north of the island of Borkum in the North Sea. The installation of the 66 GE HaliadeTM 150-6MW wind turbines is expected to be completed in September 2018.
The outstanding cooperation with our British colleagues at RTS Wind Recruitment Ltd in Middlesbrough deserves special mentioning. Thanks to the dedication of Managing Director Kevin McBride and his team, we were able to send ten Punchlist Technicians from the UK to the Netherlands within a week.
