Deutsche Windtechnik achieves a new milestone in Sweden – Service for more than 200 wind turbines

Deutsche Windtechnik's Swedish unit has expanded its portfolio and signed a technical support agreement that includes twelve Nordex turbines in Finland, setting a new milestone with a total of over 200 wind turbines under service contract. Between January 2020 until now, the Swedish unit achieved a growth of 42 percent. Deutsche Windtechnik has been commissioned to provide the full spectrum of maintenance for the wind turbines, and this follows the strong trend toward full-service contracts. The Swedish unit provides service for Vestas, Enercon, Siemens, Gamesa and Nordex turbines.

Linus Sturesson, Managing Director of Deutsche Windtechnik AB, said: "An important step towards this 200-turbine milestone was the expansion of our range of services for Enercon turbines. Service for this turbine technology is in high demand in Sweden." The Swedish unit's medium-term objectives are to continue its growth in the southern regions of the country and to establish its presence in northern Sweden in the near future. “We have a clear focus on qualitative growth. For this reason, it is especially important for our future development to maintain and further expand our high quality of service. The close cooperation with the various departments within the group puts us in an excellent position to shape our growth with a view to the future and to manage it in a way that maintains and builds trust." Another important factor that contributes to growth is the multi-brand expertise of the independent service provider, which is highly requested from operators who have a range of different system technologies to manage.
